Maclaine Diemer is a composer and performer based in Los Angeles. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, he has extensive experience touring nationally. (Bang Camaro, Bleu, Mike Viola) He transitioned into working in video games in 2008 for Harmonix Music Systems. (Rock Band 2,The Beatles: Rock Band, Green Day: Rock Band, Dance Central), before leaving the music game space to work on ArenaNet's highly-anticipated massively multiplayer online game Guild Wars 2.

 

Maclaine brought live orchestra to the Guild Wars soundtrack for the first time, and has gone on to act as primary composer and music director for two expansions, 2015's Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns and, most recently, Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire. He has recorded with orchestras in Seattle, Los Angeles, Germany, and Hungary.

 

Maclaine is passionate about telling stories with his music, which has helped him find success creating scores for games, film, and television.
